In April 2017, Aisin Seiki and Aisin Group companies introduced a Virtual Company system as a framework for group collaboration structure that can integrate the Group's strengths, organized around business units and transcending boundaries between companies.

Currently we have four Virtual Companies: Powertrain, Chassis & Vehicle Safety Systems, Body, and ICT & Electronics. However, as of August 1, 2018 we will establish a new Aftermarket Product Virtual Company, and this will be accompanied by the organizational changes and personnel transfers described below.

1. Details of organizational change

<Purpose>

By newly introducing Aisin Group companies' products to the aftermarket sector, we aim to further expand our business, optimize the bases and sales channels of each company involved in the aftermarket sector, and improve operational efficiency.

<Specific organizational structure>

To achieve the above objectives, we have established an Aftermarket Product Virtual Company as an organizational structure that promotes quick decision-making and business execution transcending boundaries between companies, bringing together members of Group companies to establish an Aftermarket Product Virtual Company Management Dept. and promote its activities.
