Reclining Lift-chair (Rikuraku)
Providing this chair at low cost has been realized through the communization of the reclining mechanism that enables stepless adjustment from 100 to 130 degrees with the drivetrain component of our self-support bed.
By utilizing a wide seating surface in which the seating area is wider than the chair arms, the occupant can be smoothly transferred to the bed or elsewhere in a sitting position, thus facilitating nursing care. The height of the seating surface can be adjusted from 15 cm to 45 cm, allowing the occupant to stand up or sit down with ease.

Self-support reclining bed
Aisin Seiki's self-support reclining beds offer the "Se-raku (comfortable for the back)" mechanism for a new vertical position when needed. The pelvis is raised and a near-vertical S-shaped posture is created by raising the lumbar vertebrae with a backboard under the lower back. As a result, pressure is taken off of the lower back and sliding is reduced in the vertical position by raising up the middle of the back.
The bedside has no footboards on account of an uncluttered foot area and inside frame, enabling the close positioning of such equipment as wheelchairs, lifts and portable toilets and easy transfer of bed occupants.

Lightweight electric wheelchair
The weight of the chair is limited to 23kg by employing a nickel-hydrogen battery, while the chair can be easily loaded into automobiles by folding it. The battery can be charged wherever an outlet exists, and one charge lasts roughly 20km. It has a maximum speed of 6km per hour and enough power to climb a 4cm step. Each chair comes standard with magnetic brakes, making use on slopes less worrisome.

Portable toilet
Aisin Seiki's portable toilet was designed in response to user requests for "being able to do it by myself," by accounting for "cleanliness," "smooth transfer of the user from the bed to the toilet" and "functional ease of use." The upper scale of models in this series includes a washlet, heated seat, deodorizing function and adjustment controls for the height of the toilet seat and arm rests.
