Ultrasonic Sensors Added to Conventional System that Assists Steering When Parking
- The combined functions of recognizing the location of parking space lines using rear camera and vehicle detection technology that utilizes front ultrasonic sensors to detect parked vehicles enable the new system to estimate the physical dimensions of the vacant parking space and set the target parking position.
- Greatly simplifies the driver’s own processes of establishing the parking position and making adjustments, resulting in greater usability.
