In order to respond to the increasingly diverse expectations and demands of stakeholders and to achieve sustainable development in a rapidly changing business environment, it is imperative that we endeavor to achieve the transparency, soundness, and compliance that are the bases of corporate management.
To this end AISIN is working on strengthening corporate governance, adopting a more rigorous attitude to compliance, engaging in ongoing risk management, and disclosing information in a prompt and appropriate manner.
CSR Management
AISIN enacted the Aisin Group Principles of Corporate Behavior in January 2010.
Covering all Group companies, the principles form the foundation for the promotion of CSR activities based on the principles of respect for human rights and fair and equitable relationships with stakeholders.
Corporate Governance
AISIN is striving to strengthen corporate governance in the belief that, as corporate citizens, we need to achieve management with high levels of fairness and transparency.
Compliance
We declare our intention of complying with all laws, Japanese and foreign, and with international rules as well as with the spirit of these laws and rules, and of acting on the basis of good social judgement.
Risk Management
We are doing our utmost to forestall the various risks that are likely to have a major influence on corporate management. With the aim of obtaining a corporate constitution with strong resistance to risks, we believe that it is essential for us to be able to minimize the effects of an accident if one should occur and to respond in such as a way as to enable rapid restoration.
Disclosure of Information
To enable stakeholders to deepen their understanding of AISIN, we believe it is necessary for us to disclose corporate information in a timely and fair manner and to fulfill our duty to provide full explanations.
Intellectual Property Management
AISIN engages in the management of intellectual property assets under the Aisin Group Principles of Corporate Behavior, which stipulates that the Company is to safeguard proprietarily developed products and technologies as intellectual properties and respect the intellectual properties of other companies.
