AISIN is aiming to become a leader in the environmental field through a variety of environmental activities.
We have drawn up our Fourth Environmental Activities Plan to serve as a paradigm and plan for our activities between fiscal 2007 and 2011, and we are seriously tackling environmental issues while attempting to achieve harmony with society and the environment. Our environmental activities focus on the five points listed below.
Whereas the focus of the Third Environmental Activities Plan was on decreasing all factors that have a negative influence on society and nature, the Fourth Plan is also concerned with accelerating activities likely to be of benefit to society and nature.
The five points are as follows:

• Promote the development of earth-friendly new products and technologies
• Achieve drastic reductions in environmental load emission in our global production activities
• Expand AISIN Group consolidated environmental management
• Further raise environmental awareness of individual employees worldwide
• Further promote nature and environment conservation activities
