Major Activities in Fiscal 2007

All AISIN Charity Concert (Nov. 17, 2006)

The AISIN Group holds a charity concert every year and uses a portion of the proceeds to support the activities of various non-profit and other organizations. The 20th charity concert was held in fiscal 2007 at AISIN AW Co., Ltd.'s Kibo no Oka Harmony Hall before approximately 1,000 audience members.

All AISIN NPO Activity Support Fund

The All AISIN NPO Activity Support Fund effectively utilizes profits from the annual All Aisin Charity Concerts in order to actively support regional organizations such as non-profit organizations (NPOs). In fiscal 2007, the ninth year of the activities, 19 institutions received funds totaling ¥3.1 million.

Sawayaka Fureai Seminars (Aug 2006 - Jan 2007)

From 1995, AISIN has been collaborating with social welfare councils and other community organizations to hold seminars that encourage attendees to participate in volunteer and community activities. In fiscal 2007, we provided seminars in 10 cities with 639 people attending to learn about 11 topics, including “picture books translated into Braille,” “reading,” “counseling,” “disaster volunteers” and “international exchange.”

Volunteer Activities by Managers' and Assistant Managers' Clubs

Managers' and assistant managers' clubs have been independently carrying out annual volunteer activities including cleaning of and donations to welfare facilities, along with supporting the efforts of the Association for Preserving Hirahara Genji Hotaru Fireflies in Nishio city.

Supporting Special Olympics Soccer Workshops

Employees, mostly from the company's team, coach soccer as part of Special Olympics activities aimed at helping people with mental disabilities experience the joy of sports and participate in society through sporting activities. A total of 11 workshops were held in fiscal 2007, with around 30 special participants enjoying the fun and excitement of soccer.
