The AISIN Sea Horses

Our men's basketball team has enjoyed the support of fans in the region since its founding 60 years ago in 1947. The Sea Horses have captured the JBL Super League championship twice and the Emperor’s Cup championship four times. The team also provides annual support to the AISIN Cup, a national junior high school basketball tournament, by holding basketball workshops. We will continue to actively undertake such efforts as a good corporate citizen so as to be able to achieve harmony with local communities through sports.

Aisin Seiki's Sumo Club

The Sumo Club, which this year celebrates the 60th anniversary since its establishment, has won the All Japan Businessman Sumo Federation Tournament three times, and the sumo competition at the Japan National Athletic Meet four times. With a view toward actively pursing global-oriented exchange activities, in fiscal 2007 the Sumo Club traveled to Turkey and held sumo demonstrations in Istanbul and other cities, while also sharing an authentic sumo wrestler's meal of chanko-nabe with exchange students.
