AISIN has commenced contract manufacturing six-speed automatic transmission(the ”six-speed AT” )developed by Mazda at AISIN Drivetrain, Inc.(United States, Indiana : “ADI”), its consolidated subsidiary in the United States.

In the North American market, vehicle manufacturers are increasingly expanding local production, while demands continue to grow for stable supply and rapid responsiveness. To meet these needs, the Company is leveraging the production technologies and quality management expertise it has cultivated in the transmission field to build a production framework that is closely aligned with the region.

The contract manufacturing of Mazda’s six-speed AT in the ADI will further enhance supply capabilities and responsiveness in the North American market. Through localized production tailored to customer needs, this initiative will contribute to a stable supply and strengthened competitiveness.
