AISIN CORPORATION has begun contract production of hybrid units designed by Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Guangzhou City, China; President: Feng Xingya; hereinafter referred to as “GAC Group”). This product, which will be installed in the “Trumpchi S7” model unveiled by GAC Group at Auto Shanghai, is manufactured by GAC AISIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CO., LTD. (Guangzhou City, China), a joint venture between AISIN and GAC Group.

AISIN has built a strong partnership with GAC Group through the establishment of a joint venture and the supply of automatic transmissions and sunroofs. Through this contract production, attractive products with high quality will be offered quickly and properly by harnessing the manufacturing capabilities and production technologies which have been cultivated by AISIN over the years.

With the commencement of production of this product, GAC AISIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CO., LTD. becomes the second production base for electric units in China, steadily promoting the establishment of a global production system for electrification.
