Business Development
We have positioned 2024 as the second of a three-year "full model change" to modify the content of our business and improve its quality, and we have made steady progress strengthening group management and reviewing our business portfolio.

In 2025, the final year of the full model change, we will work to complete structural reforms and formulate long-term policies and scenarios for sustainable growth by 2035. Then, we will identify market needs and customer trends, strengthen relationships with customers in each region, and shift to region-based management.

Electrification and Vehicle Intelligence
A wide range of AISIN products and technologies that support a full lineup of electric vehicles will contribute to the ongoing improvement, efficiency and operation of EVs. Reenergized growth and interest in HEVs and PHEVs will lead to new opportunities for AISIN. For example:  ・Steady progress has been made in building a global production system for 4.5 million electric units.

・AISIN will provide a full lineup of electrified components for HEVs and PHEVs, including its flagship eAxle.
・AISIN will continue to contribute to the improvement of electricity consumption, driving performance, and safety by utilizing integrated vehicle control, intelligent and electric units, brakes, chassis, aerodynamic devices, and location information, etc.
・AISIN’s integrated sensing inside and outside the vehicle helps to provide a comfortable and secure moving space.

Technology Development to Help Achieve Practical Carbon Neutrality
・Production is progressing as planned toward the 2035 target of carbon neutrality.
・The company plans to expand the demonstration of perovskite solar cells at its own plants and with external parties beginning this year.

To become a company where all employees energetically take on new challenges and grow individually, we will overcome walls and barriers, ineffective functions and mindsets and promote a vibrant culture in which all employees are encouraged to seek and undertake new challenges. For example:  

・A project-based organization will be established in 2025 and clarify the mission of "who will do what and by when” and entrust it to our members.
・Additionally, the company personnel system will be revised to provide evaluations and treatment that rewards abilities and roles and promotes challenges.

Growing the Business Portfolio, Investing in Growth
・AISIN will strategically promote asset reduction, while injecting funds to expand and grow our business portfolio.
・Promote the consolidation and elimination of certain functions and sites to improve the efficient and effective use of AISIN Group's resources.
