Feb. 25, 2025
News Release
AISIN CORPORATION will implement organizational changes on April 1, 2025.
In this new era in which the values sought by society and people are becoming more diverse, and the structure and manufacturing of cars, as well as the nature of the value chain, are changing dramatically, AISIN is strongly pushing ahead with a full model change, with the two main pillars: “A shift in business to growth areas such as electrification”, and “ Improving profitability by strengthening its corporate foundation.”
In order to achieve sustainable growth, we will change our organizational structure to ensure that we can carry out business restructuring.
(1) Strengthening regional structures and appointing local leaders to accelerate regional management
To strengthen strategic promotion in the Indian market, which is expected to grow in the future, we will separate our Indian business as an independent business from the ASEAN / India Division and establish a new India Division. Additionally, in order to accelerate the shift to regional management, we will promote the localization of top management of regional divisions.
(2) Reorganization following the AISIN Chemical business integration (strengthening group management and improving management efficiency)
Upon integrating with an affiliated subsidiary, AISIN Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as AC), we will consolidate AC's manufacturing section into the organization necessary for plant operation and management, and incorporate it into the Aisin-Group Production Division as the "Fujioka Plant." Within the technical section, the chemical products and friction materials section will be consolidated as one area of the Component Products Division of the Product Development Center. In addition, in order to strengthen resin development, the resin technology sections of our company and AC will be consolidated.
(3) Flexible and effective operation of development resources through the coexistence of next-generation growth products and existing products
As part of the reorganization of the Product Development Center, the EV Promotion Laboratory will be dissolved in a progressive manner, with the aim of moving from the next-generation development stage to the phase of commercialization. In addition, the company will consolidate the development of components that support products and establish a new Component Product Division to accelerate its collaboration with all product divisions.
