Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. and Aisin AW Co., Ltd., in conjunction with Okazaki City (Aichi-prefecture, Japan), will launch tests to verify the efficacy of a new road maintenance support service beginning on October 2, 2019.

This is a total road maintenance service that detects road abnormalities from data collected by traveling vehicles, delivers this information, offers support for planning of repairs, and implements countermeasures. The service promises to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance operations.
