Aisin Group including Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kariya, Aichi ; President: Kiyotaka Ise) have chosen priority issues (materiality issues) that all Aisin Group companies will work on with the aim of realizing sustainable development in harmony with society and nature.
Since its establishment, Aisin Group has adhered to the corporate principle of "Quality First," and has sought to offer appealing products that meet customers' needs. Furthermore, upholding our corporate principles of "Contributing to the advancement of society" and "Harmony with Society and Nature," the Group promotes implementation of corporate behavior that helps create a sustainable society.
These Aisin Group values and efforts strongly align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which went into effect in January 2016, and thus we believe we will be able to continue helping to achieve the SDGs through our business activities. To accelerate our efforts, we have chosen seven priority issues (materiality issues).
We will share these priority issues among all Aisin Group employees, and to realize our ideal situation, we will accelerate a process of setting long-term goals to incorporate them into specific action plans.
