Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kariya, Aichi, President: Kiyotaka Ise), Aisin AW Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Anjo, Aichi, President: Kazuhisa Ozaki), Aisin comCruise Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Nagoya, Aichi, President: Yoshiaki Kato, hereinafter, "ACC"), and AW SOFTWARE Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Sapporo, Hokkaido, President: Yasunobu Ito, hereinafter, "AW-SW") have reached basic agreement on the commencement of discussions toward the management integration of ACC and AW-SW, two companies in charge of the development of in-vehicle software within the Group.

Since the introduction of the virtual company (VC) system in April 2017, the Aisin Group has developed close cooperative structures within the Group. In the information and electronics fields, to accelerate and reinforce efforts to respond to the CASE trends by gathering the Group's full capabilities, the Group has promoted the shifting of resources to improve efficiency and the exchanging of technologies within the Group.

In addition to the establishment of an efficient development structure expected to be enabled by the integration of the two companies specializing in software development within the Group, the aim of the integration is to accelerate the development and installation of software suitable for electrified, intelligent, and connected cars, and improve the quality and skills.

The four companies will discuss the details of the management integration, with a view to completing it in October 2019.
The Aisin Group will make a united effort to offer highly competitive software, thereby contributing to the creation of a new mobility society.
