The Aisin Group^* including Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi, President: Kiyotaka Ise) will jointly exhibit at EVS31 (the 31st International Electric Vehicles Symposium & Exhibition) & EVTeC 2018 (International Electric Vehicle Technology Conference 2018) from Sunday, September 30 to Wednesday, October 3, and will present its technologies and products relating to electrification.

In the field of transmissions, Aisin will exhibit the 2-motor FWD Hybrid Transmission, and the 1-motor FWD Hybrid Transmission based on the automatic transmissions that are Aisin's flagship products. Also exhibited will be a lineup of electric drive units consisting of motors and speed reducers, with two types: a small-capacity type already in mass production, mounted on the rear wheels of a front wheel drive car to be used for electric 4WD, and a large-capacity type "eAxle" electric 4WD unit currently under development, to be applied in large SUVs and minivans.

In addition, the Aisin Group will present a lineup of products that meet needs accompanying electrification for various types of vehicles including hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), electric vehicles (EV), and fuel cell vehicles (FCV), such as an electric pump that lubricates and cools motors and batteries, and a regenerative cooperative brake.
