Six Aisin Group companies*1 including Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. will jointly exhibit at the 2017 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) , which will be held at the COBO Center in Detroit, USA from Saturday, January 14th to Sunday, January 22nd.

This year, we are exhibiting for the first time our newly developed FR 10-speed automatic transmissions, multi-stage THS-II transmissions, and FF 8-speed automatic transmissions.　This lineup of our latest transmission products represents the core of the Aisin Group's business.

In the field of automatic driving, which is the focus of much attention in the North American market, we will exhibit products such as Active Rear Steering and High Performance ESC Modulator that perform integrated vehicle motion control, as well as products employing sensing technologies such as the Driver Monitoring System and Peripheral Monitoring System. In addition, we will use a simulator to present our Driver Abnormality Response System, which automatically pulls the car over to the shoulder when the driver is in an abnormal state.

In addition, we will present auto-body related products that contribute to improvement of user comfort and convenience through lighter weight and optimized form, and exhibit a system and screen a video introducing new directions in thermal management for improved fuel efficiency.
