Aisin Seiki to mark 50th year with construction of new exhibition hall
Aug. 29, 2014
News Release
As part of the 50th Anniversary Project*, Aisin Seiki will construct a new exhibition hall. The new hall will replace the existing AISIN com-center facility that opened in 2001, and in addition to presenting the history of the Aisin Group thus far, will connect visitors and the local community more closely to the Group as we gear up for the next 50 years.
The product exhibition area will give an overview of the Aisin Group and clearly, concisely present our key business areas of automotive parts and lifestyle- and energy-related products, along with new business endeavors. The facility will also feature a theater equipped with projection mapping technology and a demonstration area enabling visitors to experience product functions and mechanisms hand-on, providing large numbers of guests with an exciting and memorable experience.
The historical display area will take visitors on a trip through Aisin history from our origins to the present day, and will exhibit Aisin Group products as they have evolved over the years with advances in technology.
The building will be environmentally friendly, with Gas Heat Pump (GHP) air conditioner that curtails CO2 emissions. These GHP air conditioners can continue to operate and even supply electricity during power outages, enabling business continuity in the event of a natural disaster or other emergency.
*Aisin Group will mark its 50th anniversary on September 1, 2015.
