Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi; President: Fumio Fujimori) and four group companies*1 will jointly exhibit at the Automotive Engineering Exposition 2013 at Pacifico Yokohama in Nishi Ward, Yokohama, Japan from May 22 through 24, presenting products geared toward the group-wide objective of "boosting automotive fuel efficiency."

We will exhibit 17 products, highlights among which are a lightweight, compact and highly efficient medium torque capacity RWD 2-motor hybrid transmission employed in hybrid luxury sedans, and a motorized vacuum pump employed in plug-in hybrid electric SUVs.

In addition, the Aisin Group will present four scientific papers*2 including "Development of online estimation method for vehicle stability factor," as well as presenting our "Development of the gear form rolling technology of realizing a next generation type electric actuator," which won a technological development award at the 63rd Automotive Engineering Awards of the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan.

Through concerted efforts to boost the fuel efficiency of automobiles, the Aisin Group aims to contribute to preservation of the global environment.
