Aisin Group to exhibit at Automotive Engineering Exposition 2014

Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. and five Group companies* will jointly exhibit at the Automotive Engineering Exposition 2014 at Pacifico Yokohama in Nishi Ward, Yokohama, Japan from May 21 (Wed.) through May 23 (Fri.), presenting products geared toward the Group-wide objective of  "Contribute to Car's Fuel Efficiency."

 

In addition to products for hybrid vehicles, we will exhibit a new 6-Speed Automatic Transmission for Commercial Vehicle that achieve higher torque capacity and greater fuel efficiency at the same size as its predecessor product, and present for the first time our groundbreaking Regenerative Cooperation Braking System with Conventional ESC employing an ESC pressurization control unit with our unique quiet pump technology. These exhibits will highlight the Aisin Group's contribution to improved automotive fuel efficiency. 

We will also present a driving simulator showcasing Aisin Group technologies that are helping to build a safe, secure automotive society, as well as our latest car navigation systems.

 

At an outdoor Mobility Assist test drive area, visitors will be able to operate a "Personal Carrier Robot" developed by Aisin, which offers users personal mobility and is equipped with sensors to detect the surrounding environment and safety features that limit and adjust speed to prevent potential collisions on sidewalks shared with pedestrians, etc.

 

The Aisin Group is pursuing the development of technologies that meet the needs of automotive users from many different angles.
