Exhibit at 11th World Congress on ITS Nagoya,
Aichi 2004, Japan

Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. (President: Kanshiro Toyoda; Headquarters: Kariya, Aichi)
and Aisin AW Co., Ltd. (President: Takao Taniguchi; Headquarters: Anjo, Aichi),
will present a joint exhibition booth at the 11th World Congress on ITS Nagoya,
Aichi 2004, Japan to be held from October 19 through 24 at Nagoya International
Exhibition Hall in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.
AISIN groupês cutting-edge technologies on ITS aimed at enhancing –safety”
and ”convenience”, will be intelligibly presented using displayed
images and demonstration vehicles which are integrated with the cutting-edge ITS
related products as well as presenting the technical papers.
AISIN Seiki, providing parking assist systems using rear view images and voice
guidances such as –Parking Assist System” and –Intelligent Parking
Assist” to Japanese and foreign automobile manufacturers, will present its
cutting-edge technologies for –Future Parking Assist System”, and
–Intersection Obstacle Notification System” and others using a demonstration
vehicle at the booth. The former employs sensors to automatically search for a
parking space in addition to the functions of the current –Intelligent Parking
Assist”. The latter employs a system for displaying obstacles in the intersection
and giving a warning to the driver.
Aisin AW, providing navigation systems to 11 Japanese and foreign automobile manufacturers
and car audio system manufacturers based on OEM agreement, has attained the unit
sales of 710,000 car navigation systems in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2004.
At the booth, 8 new models of car navigation system will be exhibited, and the
future navigation system will be presented with video footage. In addition, Aisin
AW, also as an expert automatic transmission (AT) manufacturer, will present –NAVI-MATIC”
(Navigation System-Coordinated Shift Control System) which controls the automatic
transmission according to the anticipated road information given from the car
navigation systems. A demonstration vehicle will let the visitors experience the
comfortable shift changes with –NAVI-MATIC” comparing to those without
–NAVI-MATIC” functions.
