Business Strategies New Body Components Manufacturing Company Established in Mexico

Aisin Seiki established a new company to produce door frame in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The new company, Aisin MFG. AGUASCALIENTES S.A. DE C.V. (AMA) will start production operations in fall 2005.

Aisin U.S.A. Manufacturing, Inc. (President :Toshikazu Nagura; Headquarters: Seymour, Indiana, U.S.A. ; abbr: AUM) has been manufacturing door frame for North American automakers. In order to flexibly respond to new customers based in Mexico, the new production base was established in the new location for transportation efficiency of door frame.

In Mexico, there are two overseas affiliated companies of AISIN Group; Aisin Mexicana S.A. DE C.V.(AMX) and Liberty Mexicana S.A. DE C.V.(LMX). AMA is the third production company of Aisin Group in Mexico.

AMA will be managed by LMX as a branch company thereof.
